We also want to clarify that MyRacehorse’s model is unique in that we pre-fund all offerings with company capital and require only a one-time investment from shareholders. Additionally, MyRacehorse covers ongoing costs if a horse’s account goes negative due to layups or injury. This means we share significant financial risk and always manage horses with both their welfare and our owners’ best interests in mind.

In fact we offered over 500 free ownership perks across the nation in 2025 alone. With only a one time payment, there are no out of pocket expenses after your initial purchase. We issue instant payouts for first through third finishes, but for fourth place or lower, once the race is finalized, if there are additional funds that can be distributed, we will distribute them. It is possible to make a profit, however, not every horse is profitable. Because of this, we really cherish the big wins and emphasize that MyRacehorse is very experience based. We work really hard to provide the best ownership experience possible!
